Zeke, Wendy And Heather Brave The Snows Of Maine
The view in the morning...Brrrrrr!
Zeke learns to chill out in the back
Zeke steals Heather's 0 degree bag! Looks chilly, doesn't it? That's frost in the air!
Mmmmm, yummy frost. Zeke licks the window clean
The frost before Zeke licked it
Heather wanted to broaden her horizons and maybe join the Maine Conservation Corps. That meant another road trip just when we thought we couldn't possibly be camping out any more ;-)  Off we went....camping in the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, then on to Augusta, Maine for a job interview.

All three of us slept in the back of the Jimmy, cuddled together for warmth. It was still mighty frosty in the morning!! We don't even want to know how cold it was out there! At least we did not put the tent over the tailgate like we usually do.....

Maine was way warmer and less snowy than Vermont and New Hampshire. It was in the 50's  ;-)  We stopped at a great little diner for fish "chowda" and a fisherman's platter of fries, scallops, shrimp, haddock and clams. Totally yummy!

I think our next road trip should be to a more southern location ;-)
